The tiles are only as good as what sits under them and how they are fixed. We lay a breathable membrane and treated battens, set the tiles out to the correct gauge and headlap for the pitch, and fix them to current standards. Ridges, hips and verges are bedded or mechanically fixed to suit the roof, so the edges are as secure as the slopes.
